I am on 1200 c diet. i exercise few times a week. started on nov 5. not lost any fat yet. thyroid ok. does it matter what type of calories i eat?

To Lose weight: I commend you for your desire to lose weight. See your Physician for Balanced Diet with protein, carbohydrates, less Fat, Minerals, Vitamins and Anti-oxidants with 1500 Cal/day; gradually decreasing, Daily Exercise including Weight lifting; push and pull movements of the muscles; and Stress Management. Do not be impatient. Set goal of losing 1-2 lbs/week. Feel good about your achievements.

I agree, if you are truly doing this and still not losing weight, consider an evaluation by an endocrinologist. There are other conditions, which are rarer, but do significantly weight. Some medications may also be an issue, you may want to consult a HealthTap doctor for a. Ore detailed evaluation.
