OCD: With OCD, which is very treatable with psychotherapy and SSRI medication like Zoloft, (sertraline) please seek out a physician next week who can prescribe this medication to decrease these intrusive thoughts and help with CBT, cognitive behavioral therapy. Prayer and meditation, adequate exercise, sleep. Is your friend available to talk with? Please seek help.

See answer: OCD is generally treated with therapy (interpersonal, CBT and/or exposure) and medication. Do see a mental health professional for a diagnostic evaluation and guidance. See: http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/ocd/basics/definition/con-20027827 I hope this helps.
