None whatsoever: If you don't have a deficiency, not only have multivitamins now been shown in major studies involving tens of thousands of men and women to have no benefits, some studies even suggest they may cause harm. Get what you need from food and the sun and don't fall prey to the hype.

They are not : Necessary with proper diet, exept for postmenopausal women who need to take vit d 800-1200 u a day and calcium 1200-1500 mg a day.
