U/S interpretation : Of all the exams in medicine ultrasound examinations are the ones that are the most operator dependent. You have just experienced an example of that maxim. You have to try to find the most senior, most experienced person available to you and present yourself to him. Ultimately your diagnosis is not one made on U/S but by lab findings or laparoscopically. Good luck!
