Suspect a virus: It sounds like you could have meningitis although DON'T PANIC! There are many forms of meningitis and probably you have what we call 'aseptic' meningitis which means it is not caused by a bacteria. Good though to get it checked out anyway to be sure. Call your primary doc and hopefully they can see you today as an add-on. If fevers and/or rash go to the ER ASAP.
