She : She needs to be re-evaluated. It is very abnormal to have pain for that long. I am glad that she had the mri's of her head and neck and that she saw a specialist. Please see your doctor immediately or go to the er if she is now having vomiting. Please be sure that she has had a lumbar puncture with pressures taken as well if she has not had that performed.

Get checked: She should definitely get re-checked. This pain could be for a number of different reasons, but one of the most concerning would be an inadequately treated meningitis.
