I've had foot pain along the left side of my right foot for 3 weeks now, it just came on quite bad, when i was vaulting at gymnastics, it's causing me to get sad and upset as i can't do tumbling or vaulting bc of it, should i get it checked out?

3 week painful foot: Absolutely it should be seen by an orthopaedic surgeon now. You may have a fracture which will worsen if it is not treated

See your GP: The patients should seek evaluation treatment if pain persists for 3 weeks. See your GP for eval and possible referral to a specialist.

Yes.: It may be a strain of one of the critical tendons in that area, the posterior tibial tendon. See an orthopedic foot and ankle specialist.
