How long can i wait to go back to gymnastics after breaking my ankle?

8 weeks: It depends on the fracture and return is a gradual process. I think 8 weeks is safe, but you may not be able to do everything. I would think you should be unrestricted at 3 months.

Return to activity: This is touch to answer as it depends on: the type of break you had, if surgery was required, how long it takes for the break to heal, and if you have any associated weakness of the ankle. The best person to answer this would be your treating doctor.
