As soon as 15 days: The CDC recently updated the guidelines for HIV testing with development of "3rd and 4th generation tests". 3rd generation testing can pick up infect very early with RNA testing, but has a high false + rate. 4th generation tests are accurate about 3-4 days later & test for the p24 Viral Ag & Virus Ab. CDC website for testing sites or your local health department which should now use new protocol.
