A member asked:

Is a hiv negative blood test (antibody test) after 6 month from exposure conclusive? or should i take another one.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Relax, Don: It's unlikely that your HIV screen would be negative six months after your risky event. You're welcome to repeat in a year or pay a big charge for PCR (which would be absolutely definitive). I suggest you just get on with your life, having learned from your adventure and hopefully loving both more wisely and more meaningfullly. We all make mistakes, little brother. Here's to a happy future.
