A member asked:

My cbc was normal except my wbc was 10.83 and the cut off is 10.00 is this still normal? they did not order a diff.

Depends: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, your WBC is not a cause for concern per se. If you do not have fever, it is probably your normal level.

My CBC showed WBC were 6.1. Is this normal? Mine are usually 7.5 or more.
