A little low: Usually women who get periods have a HG around 12. Seems a little low not bad, iron deficiency usually the cause. Your wbc is in the normal range. Hope that helps.

Agree with Dr. S: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that,the commonest cause of low hemoglobin in women is iron deficiency. Take oral iron and multivitamins and get retested in 4-6 months.
