Two issues: An Obgyn can address your irregular periods. At 47 you may be approaching menopause. Your doctor can test and confirm. They can also do an exam looking for Gyn causes of pelvic pain. For a 10 year complex history of degenerative disc disease you need to see neurosurgeon or Orthopedic back and spine surgeon for a therapeutic plan
