Pelvic pain: Pelvic pain is complex as there are several organs in the pelvis. The ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, bladder, appendix, intestines, colon and rectum can all be the source. Pelvic pain requires and examination to help organize the evaluation. An Obgyn and a gastroenterologist are the two places to start.

Need Gyn Evaluation: It seems you have been under care of doctor who did order the Cat Scan and you must have been examined. It may be a good idea to consult your Gynecologist if not done already. And if you have been seen by Gynecologist. Then you should consult a Gastroenterologist as pain may be coming from lower GI Tract and may need colonoscopy if indicated
