Need follow up exam: It's hard to answer you correctly without visual exam. I strongly recommend a follow up visit preferably with same provider that performed the recent extraction.

See your dentist/OS: I don't think it is normal to have a red soft pimple- on an extraction site 2 month later. See your dentist or oral surgeon for evaluation and proper treatment.
