Third opinion: The differences in dentists opinions can be attributed to their education, postgraduate specialization, diagnostic equipment and experiences, so seeking a third opinion can help you feel more confident about your individual treatment plan. Good luck.

Confused: I can understand your confusion if you are getting two totally different treatment opinions. It is Very difficult to answer without a visual exam and X-rays. You might try to get a third opinion, from a dentist who specializes in full mouth rehabilitation (Prosthodontist)

Don't be confused: Different dentist will have different opinions on the best way to restore your mouth... each feels that their diagnosis and treatment plan is correct, otherwise they would not have suggested it. If confused, ask each for a clarification of their reasoning for the treatment. Soon enough you'll understand which is the correct path to take.
