Otitis media?: This sounds like otitis media, an infection behind the eardrum. It often requires additional treatment, or a different antibiotic, or sometimes drainage of fluid building up behind the eardrum. You should return to the doctor treating you. Even though it's the weekend, probably you can reach him or her, or someone covering. Call the office number and follow the advice you get. Good luck.
