Not really: The medication per se should not cause itching, thyroid disease not controlled could cause itchiness, make sure that you have your thyroid leveled with a blood test done by your doctor.

Dry skin or hives : Low thyroid hormone levels can cause dry skin that can lead to itching. There is some data that the presence of thyroid antibodies (which caused the hypothyroidism) can cause hives.
