Often normal: Sinus Bradycardia(HR <60 bpm) is more common in athletes. During sleep it's not unusual for HR to drop to 30 bpm at times. If you are not having symptoms such as dizziness or light headed no treatment is needed. It is common for physicians to order a cardiac ultrasound and an EKG stress test if there is any concern for a possible underlying heart condition. **See comments.
