Heart rate: If you are otherwise well, the resting rate of 48 is not a cause for concern.

No: Although a heart rate is technically bradycardia, this may not be abnormally low for you. You may have a lower resting heart rate because of your level of physical conditioning. A slower heart rate is not a problem if it is not associated with symptoms, such as weakness, light headedness, e.T. Cetera.
