Needs to be checked: You may have Inguinal Hernia as you say and it does get worse as you sneeze or cough.The other symptoms anus pain and buttocks pain also needs to be checked.Consult your Doctor.Treatment if it is Hernia is surgery and anal and buttock pain may or may not be related to Hernia.It is not that common to have anal and buttock pain referred pain is possibility away from the hernia
