It's week 12 post open surgery for my left inguinal hernia. i was just wondering if i should be still be worried about blowing it out if i sneeze, cough, or blow my nose. should i still be applying pressure on the wound when i do sneeze?

Should be healed: Hernia repair should have been completely healed by 6 weeks after operation. Allpying pressure to the wound incision may give you some extra confidence, but should not be necessary. Surgical patients should always be able to pose questions related to surgery performed to the surgeon concerned, who in turn should welcome related questions and certainly not charge you anything.
