How effective are daith piercings for migraines/severe headaches? i've been hearing a lot about people getting them to relieve headaches

Daith piercing AND m: I read in the internet: Bergman was the only medical professional quoted in the article, which primarily included comment from migraine sufferers and body modification studio owners. Evidence presented about the efficacy of daith piercings for migraine relief was purely anecdotal (and the source of the claim unclear): Is only a placebo effect, is a waist of time, do not do for yourself.

Take medical treatme: There are very many good medicines for treating migraines but you need to go to your doctor at least once. Acupuncture is an alternative treatment but it may cost you more. Check out either one of the above treatment options but stay away from piercings etc which can cause infection and land you in more trouble.
