A member asked:

Would a routine scrotal ultrasound show the bell clapper deformity very easily? without the doctor specifically looking for it. why/why not? pls help

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sonogram not needed: To reveal the "bell clapper" deformity of the testis, you Donot need the sonogram. A physical examination by a urologist who is familiar with this condition is all that is needed. The ultra sound will not be helpful.
