Mgt: If your throat was irritated by the burn, it may result in pain with swallowing. Unless aspirated it is unlikely to be related to the itchiness and cough. There may be another triggering agent that you are reacting to. I would advise taking an antihistamine and speaking with your PCP about the possibility of asthma.
