Strep throat: or chronic allergies could cause this cough. However, there are lots of variables eg, occupation, smoking tobacco, enviroment etc. Some medications can cause cough as well. Please consult your physician for a thorough history, exam and basic tests, ie, chest xray, throat swab, and blood tests. Get well.
