Vitamins will: dissolve if you drink a lot, but the real danger is if it slips down into your lungs. Visit an MD for an exam, probably to include a chest X-ray. Young, healthy and paleo are fine, but not the biggest concerns. I'd focus on the size of the vitamin and where it is lodged. Most dissolve in water but you also don't want tissue damage if not... You need an MD for those things.

Pill Esophagitis : An acidic or corrosive medication can damage the lining of the esophagus. Stop the vitamin; avoid nuts, seeds & other foods that can irritate the open wound. Take all pills with a full glass of water while standing or sitting; remain upright for -~ ½ hr. afterwards. Ask your doctor if you should take antacids short-term & at what point you'd need further evaluation for persistent symptoms.
