Cut finger on dirty fork in dishwasher yesterday, very slightly red today, no pain really, don't want it to get infected, can i use mupirocin cream?

Low risk: The chance of infection from this sort of cut is low, especially is the fork did not penetrate deeply. If there was any detergent in the water, the risk is even lower. Even a trace amount of common dishwashing detergent would kill most infection-causing bacteria. I don't think you need mupirocin; just keep the wound clean.
