: Change the dressing daily and keep the wound dry for 3 days. If the swelling and redness are extending to the hand then you should see your doctor. It is not uncommon a deep cut is still oozing blood when changing the bandage after 24 hours. You should use glove when cooking or cleaning to keep the wound dry.
