Observe : since you have had your child examined and they did not find any cause for alarm it would be worthwhile observing him for another day. If the Finger becomes more red, swollen and painful with more red streaks then have him taken to the doctor again so that local antibiotics or oral antibiotics are started. If the child is already having fever or appears ill you should take him now.
