Ulcer/hiatal hernia: These are symptoms that point to your stomach or lower esophagus and could be from an ulcer or gastroesophageal reflux disease. A hiatal hernia (where some of the stomach rises above the diaphragm into the chest) can also contribute to the symptoms you describe. An upper endoscopy or UGI contrast study would be useful if the symptoms persist despite treatment with antacids.
