Heavy prolonged uterine bleeding may be caused by several benign disorders but ASAP you should consult a gynecologist who can obtain your sexual/reproductive history, evaluate your overall physical health and gynecological condition, do a gyn exam, some blood tests, (betaHCG, CBC etc...) perhaps a pelvic sonogram and offer you a diagnosis and the appropriate treatment.
