PSA: The first question to ask here is why was this test requested in the first place? As a screening tool for prostate cancer, PSA has a low specificity and reasonable sensitivity in older patients, but in someone your age, the value of the test is very limited, even if it is "normal" I think you wasted your money on the test unless there is a lot more you aren't saying.

Bigger picture ...: PSA is produced by the prostate gland. Infection, inflammation or prostate cancer can elevate the levels. As a screening tool PSA is a poor test; sometimes elevated for no clear reason, or offering false reassurance to people. Result is best interpreted with your physician who will take into account your risk of prostate cancer (family history, lower urinary tract symptoms, or abnormality on DRE)
