Need to be concerned: till you find why this sudden PSA elevation at 67 Every PSA elevation is not due to prostatic cancer but need to be examined by a physician and if needed a biopsy of prostate is indicated . You must see a urologist speak to your family doctor for referral .

Recheck.: A PSA value that rises that quickly, and that much, could just be indicative of inflammation or infection more than enlargement or cancer. But, it should be checked again. If it hasn't been checked by now (today's 4/6/16), then it should be checked again right away. If it continues to be that high, or higher, you need to see a Urologist right away.
