Yes: For mass, find the highest weight for which you can do ten reps for each muscle group. Do three sets of ten, three times a week. Increase as you get stronger. For aerobic / weight reduction / definition, lift lighter weights as you like and with much larger numbers of reps and also run / swim / do the treadmill. Show effort and the gym people will welcome you.
