Will not be gaining: If you are fasting , you will not be gaining weight , if you are not used to do strenuous activity , exercises before , you may not be able to do it now in day time , you will deplete the limited glucose storage , do it in the night.

Lose wt, aerobics: Probably the best way to lose tummy fat would be to lose weight using aerobic exercise such as walking or cycling. Also you can work on strengthening your abdominal muscles. If you don't lose weight you probably not have the washboard abs one strives for.

TMJ disorder: A locked jaw is usually due to a temporomandibular joint that is injured or displaced. This could happen when you are ill from clenching too much, or a wide yawn if you already have aproblem with the joint. Go see an ent. If severe a few days of a steroid will help, then you may need an occlusion splint made by a dentist.

Absolutely not!: There is no rationale for taking metformin or Onglyza (saxagliptin) in that fashion and taking such large amounts all at once may lead to toxic side-effects.

The equivalent 5-day Onglyza treatment would be once-weekly Bydureon injections. You get all of the benefits of a daily pill in a weekly shot. There is no equivalent, weekly (more convenient) dosing form of metformin yet -- we're still stuck with the once-daily metformin so far...

Yes: The answer depends on your baseline weight but in general a pace of 0.5-2 lbs/week is acceptable and achievable. The most important thing is how you are doing this. Make sure you stick to a program that you know you can maintain lifelong instead of falling for the fad diets/regimen. Good luck to you.
