Fibroid: Does that fibroid disrupt your life? Excessive bleeding, incomplete emptying of stool or urine, pelvic pain, could be reasons to have the fibroid removed. If there are no issues, it could simply be watched.

Myomectomy: Do nothing if you are asymptomatic. If you have pain and/or bleeding try ibuprofen. If you are having trouble getting pregnant, myomectomy may be indicated. If you have no desire to have children, have 8 days of bleeding a month or if you have severe pelvic pain 10 of 10 consider laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy. How is it affecting you?
