Myometrium: Myometrium means the body of uterus not inside the cavity of uterus.

Not enough info ...: The myometrium is the muscular wall of the uterus so most or all of the fibroid is in the wall. Posterior means the back wall of your uterus as opposed to the front. A fibroid in the myometrium may be completely within the wall (intramural) or project into the inside cavity of the uterus (submucosal) or it may be just under the outer covering of the uterus (subserosal). Ultrasound or MRI can tell.
