Neither recommended: Bydureon (exenatide) is very expensive, it does not reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack and may cause pancreatitis and possibly thyroid cancer. Trulicity is a similar medication with the same cautions as Bydureon (exenatide). Life style changes can lower blood sugar more than these medications: weight loss, aerobic and resistance exercise, healthy diet see: http://bit.ly/1PaeDIQ and http://bit.ly/1ybbG2S

Likely: Trulicity will likely work as well with less lumps under the skin and is easier to use with less preparation before giving the injection.
