Bacterial vaginosis : Metronidazole is the treatment for bacterial vaginosis. It is the most common vaginal infection. It is caused by an overgrowth of normal vaginal Bacteria and is not sexually transmitted. It can be diagnosed by a simple exam in many cases. It may or may not show up on a pap result
