Second Round?: If your uterine infection didn't respond to these medications the first time, it is unlikely to respond to a second round. You may need different antibiotics. Its also important to have an ultrasound to make sure your uterus is really empty. If there is anything left behind antibiotics may not be enough. You may need a D&C and IV antibiotics to clear the infection. Best wishes!
