What's wrong with: mental medicines? Are you afraid people will think you're crazy? Stop thinking "mental" & start thinking "brain." Fibromyalgia is a brain disease. Your brain is where you experience pain. "Mental" medications affect brain chemistry, right? They can modulate more than just thoughts & feelings. Pain & depression come from the same brain area. Treat one, treat the other, same drugs (often).
