Unlikely: Acid reflux can lead to cancer but it takes 20 to 30 years of persistent reflux before we can suspect that complication. Your problem is likely to be unrelated to acid reflux. But your doctor will provide you some answers. Ultrasound is not always reliable. So an Endoscopy is done as a preferred test to examine the esophagus from inside and check it out more reliably.
