Can surgical screws cause pain? i had osteotemy and open reduction 2 years ago having lots of pain. doc wants to open me a 3rd time. is it worth it?

A lot of people: I see have that problem. without an exam, I can only give general information. and if the pain localizes to the screw, if the location of the screw is moving or in an area where it gets a lot of direct stress, This might indicate taht the surgery is warranted.
