WHEEZING/SPASM: Wheezing is spasming of the lung structure, bronchi & alveoli. This may. Be a sign of asthma or bronchitis. You need an exam, labs, cxr and pulmonary function testing.

A wheeze: Is a high pitched "whistle" caused by OBSTRUCTION of your AIR PASSAGES. Asthma or Asthmatic Bronchitis are the most common causes. Hope this helps! Dr Z
