Hmm..Calf Pain...: Pain in the calf, for what ever reason, needs to investigated, especially is it is realized at night. This pain can be generated by a multitude of conditions but the one to be concerned with is impeded blood flow to the leg. An experienced clinician can make that appraisal easily during an initial exam. You can use Healthtap or your own physician to start the ball rolling.

First make sure: It's not a clot in your leg. If it is not I would consider taking magnesium supplements before bedtime like magox400 mg. if you are on any statins I would either discontinue them (with discussion with your doctor) or supplement with coenzyme q10.
