Sciatica: This is a very painful but common condition.I suspect you have a discogenic compression on a spinal nerve.I recommend gentle stretching in the hot shower, sit-up position stretch and Ibuprofen type meds.Do not expect a dr to have much more to offer in the next 4 weeks! move about to resolve fastest.

Sciatica: You may be suffering from a condition called sciatica. This is caused by aggravation of the sciatic nerve, which is a collection of nerves coming out of your lower spine/tailbone. It is common in truck drivers, heavy machine operators, etc. Treatments include bed rest and anti-inflammatory meds. Or you could have a nerve impingement from a herniated disk. There are also other causes.
