Hello. i have strep throat and whenever i hack up mucus (i do this all the time instead of blowing my noise) some blood shows on the mucus. help?

Common problem.: I assume you are on antibiotics. If not you need to be. Small amounts of blood in the mucus are common with infections of the nose and throat. IF you have a lot of bleeding or you still have fever after 72 hours, can't swallow liquids, shortness of breath etc. call doc right away or get seen again. This should clear up as you recover.
