Doctor said i have strep throat. is it normal for me to cough up tiny bits of blood alongside of mucus?

Not unusual: Some individuals get marked inflammation from strep throat, and with cough, fragile blood vessels could rupture and cause bleeding. This should resolve with treatment. Be sure to complete your full course of medication, as the strep infection tends to flare if only partially treated.
