Can weight lifting affect the heart??? i ve heard some people died by heart attack from weight lifting and just want to make sure if its the cause or just some non sense

If you: have no contraindications to vigorous activity, weight training as a component of a sensible exercise program will have positive effects on your heart and the rest of your body. If you have physical limitations, consult with your doctor and/or a trainer to learn how you can exercise safely, and whether weight training is appropriate.
